What to Wear Travel Series

WHAT TO BRING ON SUMMER VACATION

What to wear, where is always the most popular question I get asked and last year we got specific with inspiration by destination. You all loved that post, so we’ve updated it a bit with some old favorites and also with the new places I’m headed (one for the first time and another we’re headed back to, a decade later!).

I truly think through what to bring on vacation so it’s intentional, typically with a color story in mind (which makes accessories and shoes work across all looks). Even with this strategy, I always overpack as I’d rather be prepared with everything I *might* want to wear. When using this strategy just be sure to throw an air tag in each piece of luggage and pack the nearest and dearest items in your carry on. In the same boat (literally or figuratively) of shopping for upcoming travels? Scroll on to shop the dream outfits we curated for even dreamier places including Lake Como, Hotel du Cap and Saint Tropez.

French Riviera

Hotel du Cap is a French hotspot where celebrities flock year after year. Most recently, Sofia Richie Grainge held her wedding at the iconic location. If you’re lucky enough to be headed to the French Riveria, make sure to pack a chic shift dress, espadrilles, and a sun hat for lounging by the sea.

Italian Coast

Another celebrity hotspot is Lake Como, the fabulous resort town in Northern Italy. I’m planning to do a full post on Lake Como soon, but for now, shop the effortless Italian vibe above by clicking any of the products!

Saint Tropez Aesthetic

Are you headed to a coastal town similar to the French Riveria? A fun mix of maxi dresses, linen short sets, a fabulous pair of platforms and a new swimsuit will be sure to have you matching the towns aesthetic.

Lunch at an Iconic Spot

A shift dress to pack when traveling is always a good idea. Easy enough to throw on over a swimsuit by the pool or for an elevated lunch somewhere like Club 55.

Summer in Aspen

While Aspen is well known for being a ski town, it is equally as fabulous when warm weather rolls around. Be sure to pack some athleisure for hiking or biking!

Provence, France

What to wear in Provence, France! If you’re headed to the southeastern region of France, be sure to pack a chic maxi dress, fun platforms, a sun hat and handbags that will take you from day to night.

California Desert

When you think of the desert you don’t automatically think of a fabulous resort town like Palm Springs. Yet, Palm Springs, California is a vacation hotspot for many celebrities. A short drive from Los Angeles, make sure you pack your pool gear and easy outfits for a relaxed yet fun weekend.

Mykonos, Greece

Seashells are a major trend this summer, so what better place to try them out than in Mykonos? Grab your favorite swimsuit, pareo and mules to have an all day party by the pool.

What to Wear in Cape Cod

Break out the blues and pastels for a getaway trip to Cape Cod. Explore the town and nearby Nantucket in easy throw on dresses with a cute tote to top off your look.

Feel any better about what to bring on your vacation? Stay tuned…more cities like New York City, Paris and London are coming soon!
