Lately Inspired By…My New House

Aren’t these dishes charming? Scalloped Plates; Tumblers.

We just moved in to our new home…

…what a process! It feels like we will be unpacking for years to come. As such, I’m trying to Marie Kondo my life and we’ve gotten rid of a lot of stuff. I’m also getting some new things to fill in here and there. Things that spark joy…or in other words, inspire me.

About Our House

The color palette in our house is white mixed with a lot of serene blues and greens. There’s marble in the kitchen and some French-inspired accent pieces throughout too.

I was excited when Walmart wanted to collaborate on their vintage-inspired home collection (think soft, muted shades) and I saw a lot of the themes in my house represented on their site!

The scalloped plates featured above are darling (they’re stoneware, which is dishwasher and microwave safe). I also love the tumblers, which come in three colors. The Pioneer Woman has a whole collection (that’s where I found the cake plate and napkins too). The prices truly can’t be beat and everything looks much more expensive than it is. There are also more china-looking pieces in lovely patterns. I’ve linked those below (love the florals!).

I’m obsessed with this marble-top table that looks just like our dining room table (this one is a perfect side table and also comes in a dining table size) and these lamps reminds me of a pair we have. Gourd lamps are classics! Also found these towels would make any bathroom even more beautiful.

There’s also a plethora of French-inspired finds and I’m going to do a whole blog post on that (coming soon!) as many of my favorites on the Walmart site fall into that category (like these chairs and this settee).

If you’re in the market for some lovely home pieces, check out even more of my favorites from Walmart below!
