How to Style: A Suede Skirt

This post is sponsored by INTERMIX and ShopStyle

A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE WITH INTERMIX

I’ve been interested in the business of fashion for ages and realized early on it was important to do anything and everything to get my foot in the door. In college I interned in New York City at Cosmopolitan Magazine and since that was unpaid, took on a side gig at INTERMIX in Soho. In a total full circle moment, I’m proud and honored to be share my first collaboration sponsored by INTERMIX and ShopStyle.

INTERMIX has been a mainstay on the fashion scene since the early aughts. I worked there in 2006 (I’m dating myself) and it was an experience I’ll never forget! We had celebrities in the store daily (Rhianna, Margherita Missoni and Ellen Barkin to name a few) and it was my intro to brands I still love today like Chloé and Loeffler Randall.

AND TODAY…

More recently, I’ve been obsessed with the INTERMIX private label collection, which is full of key silhouettes you’ll have forever. The quality and fit are unmatched, truly. The suede skirt that I’m wearing is something I gravitated to as leather is of course on trend, but it’s also a piece I’ll be proud to wear for years and years to come.

I also love how easy the skirt is to style. I paired it with this puff sleeve sweater (it’s beyond!) and these heels, but it could just as easily work with a streamlined tank or long sleeve top, jacket and boots. Pieces that can go from day to night, like this skirt, are just the best, aren’t they? Keep scrolling for more photos and outfit ideas!
