Resortwear, Refined: What To Pack for a Spring Break Getaway

A dress I wear all of the time. It works for so many occasions in any season.

We spent spring break at Round Hill in Jamaica and it was a dream. You may remember Michael and I came here back in July, and when we left we knew we’d be back with the kids. This time we stayed in a Villa to allow everyone to spread out a bit and the set up was perfect for our family.

If you, too, have a trip planned somewhere warm, I thought I’d share a few of the resortwear outfits that carried me through the week. Many of these are styles I’ve reworn many times, which is always my measure of success when packing.

I like to pack a swimsuit and pareo for each day, a separate cover up (for tea in this case) and then a dinner look. The pareo doubled as a way to cover my shoulders for tea the day we arrived and I was very pleased with the way it came together (as the new wrap I ordered didn’t arrive in time). I also shop in a fairly cohesive color story – it gives me endless ways to mix and match and works well, if you’re looking for a way to edit your own wardrobe. Speaking of, I just snagged this gorgeous new Julia Amory top and skirt set because it’s in my favorite shade of pink. xx

My airport outfit! Adore this cardigan! Sized up to a small for an oversized look. The pants are amazing too. Super flattering. Use RRWORLD20 for a discount on the pants. xx

Wore my travel pants to tea after we arrived with a swimsuit top covered by a pareo as a shawl. So easy and quick.

Prettiest dress and capelet for a fancy dinner. Looks heavy but is so light and comfortable.

Favorite shorts! So flattering.

Pink outfits are the perfect resortwear for spring getaways xx
