It feels like just yesterday that I was working on Elle’s nursery. I did it myself and while it was darling, I knew that one day I would want help with her big girl room. Because Elle was outgrowing her crib, Clary and I schemed this room for our old house and were easily able to adapt it to our new space.
I fell in love with the fabric (which is named Eloise) and we decided to use it as a headboard. We also repurposed several pieces from our former dining room (the drapes and the mirror, which is an antique from Michael’s grandparents).
A Special Piece: Natalie Erwin Portrait
One of the things we decided to add to make the room even more special was a Natalie Erwin portrait. Her style and color palette fit so effortlessly into the space and she was a joy to work with. Elle loves admiring her likeness above the bed and it makes me beyond happy that we captured this precious stage Elle is in (I swear, 3.5 has been my favorite age). If you’re interested in working with Natalie, reach out as she has a bit of a waiting list going (but is very responsive and can walk you through the process on Instagram DM or via email).

Below, I’ve linked some of the pieces in Elle’s room. The dresser is by ducduc and here are the lamps and side tables. The scalloped baskets are also a favorite!
