A scent I cannot get enough of right now. No. 4 is my favorite but No. 5 feels like spring.
It’s been unseasonably warm here in Atlanta for the past couple of weeks and it looks like the month of May will be no different. We’ve been making the most of it; hosting garden parties, opting for the outdoor table when we head out for dinner, and starting to build summer wardrobes. May is the start of summer in my book and I’m taking full advantage. A few recurring themes that are inspiring me at the moment are Palm Royale, royal dressing, floral scents, outdoor dining, and linen of course. Stay cool xx.
Palm Royale
It’s safe to say I am obsessed with Palm Royale. The show is set in 1960s Palm Beach and the outfits are simply *chef’s kiss*. If you see me in pearls and cat eye sunglasses all summer now you know why. They have a fresh take on 60s style and I am here for it.
Royal Dressing
Everything is coming up royal for me this month. I’m headed to the Kentucky Derby this weekend and am going all out in fascinator style, channeling my inner Kate – head here for more on what I’m wearing. And later this month, we’re also hosting a trunk show for Pepa and Co – one of my favorite British brands.
Floral Scents
I took a trip to Dillard’s last week and tested out some of their new scents. The No. 4 and No. 5 by Thomas Kosmala both caught my eye. The floral notes of Bergamot and Magnolia in No. 5 felt like spring to me and I am thoroughly obsessed. Browse both for yourself here.
Outdoor Hosting
We kicked off the outdoor dining and hosting season with a Mother/Daughter floral arranging class in honor of Mother’s Day. Linen Sets
When it heats up you will find me living in linen as staying cool here in the south is paramount in the summertime. Vest and skirt sets are on trend – my favorites are from Dillard’s and Posse.
