What’s in my Bag: Beauty Essentials

What do pink pumpkins and my favorite beauty essentials have in common?

I have always been a fan of the Nordstrom beauty department, as I mentioned in a post over the summer. I was recently browsing and happened upon the perfect under $100 La Mer set, which comes complete with hydrating hand cream and lip volumizer. I bought it online and did curbside pickup, which was a totally seamless process.

I stashed the set in my purse (the 1.7 oz hand cream is an ideal size for your bag) and went about my day. Later in the weekend, after we went to pick up our pink pumpkins, I reached in my bag post-sanitizing and was so grateful to have this hand treatment at the ready. My hands have been so dry since March! I also swiped my lips with this subtly plumping pink gloss. I swear it was an instant mood boost.

So, to answer the question of what do these favorite beauty essentials and pink pumpkins have in common: they’re a lovely, inexpensive way to bring a little happiness to your fall, and since it was raining for a bit when we picked the pumpkins up, I’d like to think they’re well-hydrated too, just like my hands and lips.
