The Sweetest Space: Our Bedroom Entry

A Sweet Space with Serena & Lily

Prior to moving into our house almost a year ago, we renovated. Our strategy was to do the “nuts and bolts” right, meaning we focused our budget on the light fixtures, wallpaper and pieces attached to the house. It also meant that some spaces had to take a backseat for the time being. One of those spaces was the entry hallway to our bedroom. I’m happy to say that almost a year later, we finally have a sweet moment welcoming us into the room.

I partnered with Serena and Lily to take on the space and honestly, it was as simple as finding the perfect console table. I love the clean lines of the Parsons-inspired frame and the woven raffia finish adds the perfect amount of charm. The fact that it’s two levels enables ample space for pretty pieces, coffee table books, frames and even a lamp. The color is neutral (it comes in two other colors as well), and is a wonderful complement to our bedroom and bathroom, the two rooms that this space is nestled between.

The piece reminds me of our two-level coffee table (I get asked to source it often). As luck would have it, Serena & Lily actually offers a gorgeous version of this very console in coffee table format. I’m simply in love with it. Like the console, it comes in three colors.

Beyond the console itself, to make our bedroom entryway space complete I had a beautiful piece of art hung. I also added a lamp, coffee table books and of course, some flowers. Serena and Lily has a gorgeous selection of art, lamps and even sells coffee table books, so you could outfit your entire space at once.

Take a look at the before and after of the space. I think it turned out beautifully and it makes me smile every time I come down the hall and remember that it’s no longer an empty nook. Below, I’ve also linked some of my favorite finds from Serena & Lily. I have posted about them before, but it is truly a brand that I love and filled our home with prior to working together. Their pieces are beautiful, fresh and timeless. They complement my Grandmillennial style nicely (as they are a bit more costal-inspired). But, the fabrics and colors that they offer on the upholstered pieces are a muted pastel lovers dream.
