I am Eloise. I am Six. Seven!
Welcome to Elle’s Robes and Room Service seventh birthday party! Elle’s full name is Eloise, and we visited the Plaza for the first time last December when she was, you guessed it, six. This special age and special name inspired the theme for the spa party Elle requested.
The first thing I think of when I think of a spa is the cozy robe that you put on when you arrive, and I knew we had to incorporate Weezie robes into the day. It just so happens that Weezie, our favorite towel brand, opened a store in Buckhead last year and, being the mom of a February baby I always have to get a little creative with birthday party venues. I called their founder, who happens to be a friend, and asked if they would consider letting us host a party there and they were gracious enough to green light my idea.
The Party
If you’ve been here a while you know I love a good party. From Elle’s floral first birthday and her swan lake second to her fairy garden fifth and super sweet sixth, I have a few fun birthday party concepts under my belt. There’s a lot going on this February, so I wanted to try to keep it as low key as my party style-loving brain would let me. Keep scrolling to see what I pulled together.
You know I love a balloon and bathtub concept and lucky for me, this set up is permanently on site at the Weezie Stores. Balloons by Buckhead Betty Balloons for Weezie.
I am lucky to have a lovely graphic designer and illustrator on my team, and she knocked it out of the park with this concept!
Checking In!
Elle’s outfit is literally Eloise at the Plaza inspired! You can purchase it here. It’s a precious idea for a halloween costume that you could wear year round.
This outfit may be one of my best ever. The jeans are my favorite. Sadly they’re an old color but the same style is available this season in a host of pretty winter neutrals. If you’re after pink, adore this pair. Heels are here and are so fun and feminine. The sweater sold out, but I’m trying to get it restocked. Here is a white version if that is more your speed. Stay tuned!
Elle kept wanting to channel Eloise by “making mischief” and this was her idea of trouble making.
Upon arrival, each of the girls got an embroidered Weezie robe with their name in pink script. I also invited a few older gals and fifth grade buddies from Elle’s school to help encourage everyone to be on their best behavior since we were in a store, after all.
I had a bow and pillow cases made, and we also used Weezie bath mats to cover the floor. This was our movie nook, the party concept was to watch Eloise at the Plaza, have room service snacks and enjoy a little pampering: manicures by The Little Nail Kitchen and Fairy Hair by my favorite Dry Bar stylists Trenton and Tiffany. The girls also got to decorate spa slippers. I found these kid size slippers in bulk and bought a ton of jewel and pearl stickers from Amazon.
Elle blew out the candles, but we served cake ball bubbles in these cute bathtubs (which double as the best American Girl Doll accessory). Thanks to Whitney from Sugar and Slate for the bathtub idea! The party was a hit and my wish for my big girl this year is health, happiness and a continued love of reading and writing, which comes in handy as it’s time to get start on her thank you notes!

Special thanks to the wonderful Weezie team for hosting us!
