Nicola Bathie McLaughlin

Meet interior and jewelry designer Nicola Bathie McLaughlin. Online you’ll find her sharing her beautiful daughter, gorgeous home and must-have earrings, which recently launched on anthropologie.com. Offline she can be found strolling the tree-lined streets of San Antonio drawing inspiration. There, she’s a family-focused, floral-loving gal whose style keeps us coming back for more (did you see her recent Brock purchase or her Gracie sale score?). Next stop for Nicola? “I have an urge to go to the South of France or English Countryside.” I think I speak for her collective followers when I say: we can’t wait for those outfit posts.

1. Have you had any memorable mentors? If so, how did you meet? What advice have they shared that’s stuck with you?

I worked at Jenkins Interiors in Dallas before I moved home to San Antonio. Leslie gave me an abundant amount of advise on so much more than design and style, but in all aspects of life.

2. How has becoming a mama influenced your style?

It has evolved. I used to spend a while getting ready and done. Now it is what I can get on the quickest. Normally it is initiated with what Sophia is wearing, as I dress her first.

3. Favorite brands at the moment?

4. Heels or flats?

Heels, although I’m in flats 98% of the time.

5. Favorite people to follow on Instagram?

YOU! @thefashionbugblog @blaireabiebee @margoandme

You can find bow-obsessed Nicola on Instagram @nicolabathiedesigns. Her enviable earrings are available at Anthropologie and in her online shop.
