Born on Fifth x Antonio Melani Holiday 2023

We’ve been working on this collection for over a year now, but the inspiration truly set in when I came back from my last trip to Paris. Your travel wardrobe is the intersection of your closet staples and the beautiful pieces that make you feel most confident. We all want to look our best while traveling, but need comfort and versatility too. So many of these pieces are those I wished I had while abroad, but also pieces that I believe every woman should have in her closet for a lifetime.

I brought that concept of curating for lifetime wear to the holiday collection by developing pieces that were not only on-trend but would be relevant every holiday season. These pieces are also suitable for so many of your most special life moments..for example, while this collection isn’t intended for maternity wear,  I was very intentional about some of having the pieces be something that, if sized up, could also work with a bump and long afterward. My most treasured wardrobe staples are those that span many seasons of my life, so I was inspired to create styles that you’ll return to—for celebrating moments big and small. If you do want to size up to wear with a bump, you can also tailor down after baby (this was a key dressing strategy of mine for the back-to-back years I was having Jennings and George).

The Blair Dress is amazing. With a tulle under-layer, it is a true gown! You can wear like this or with the Belle bow. The skirt and bow have a decidedly blush tonality, so it is appropriate to wear to a wedding in addition to holiday parties, charity events… This is a lifetime look.

The Elle Bow Heels come in the perfect bridal blush. They will look lovely in that coveted bridal shoe shot on your wedding day.

Here’s the Belle Bow! Also amazing for tabletop decor… think baby or bridal shower.

The bow back! Love the Grace Dress for bridal or honeymoon obviously… But for maternity photos too. Size up, then tailor to your body and have it fitted for post-baby photos too. I also had wedding anniversaries in mind when designing this.

The Aurelia Skirt… Just the dreamiest way to wear the silver trend. Love it with the Millicent Coat... an absolute must that can be worn buttoned as a top or as a true jacket and honestly looks like it costs $1000.

Adore the Gemma Dress with its 3D flower detailing and beautiful ballet back… it’s precious with tights too! One of my favorite things about this party dress is that it’s suitable for so many ages.

The Millie Heel looks as gorgeous peeping out of a full skirt as it does dressed down (and comfortable enough for on-the-go too).

Celine Skirt

Love the Constance Jacket paired with Celine Skirt or just over jeans!

The Beau Bodysuit and Celine Skirt reads like a dress in person but are separates. Very elegant and it has weight to it! They were the most popular pieces at our launch party.. these styles looked so good on everyone. Silver is so on-trend and this hits that in such an understated and timeless way for not only this season but years to come.

Lou Lou Skirt

Obsessed with the Coco Jacket on its own or as a subtly sequined holiday suit that’s giving coco. It also looks chic with pants! I’ve worn it to the Falcons game with black cropped pants and love it with jeans too.

Thanksgiving dress, work holiday party, holiday program… the Catherine Dress may be my most worn. It’s an unbelievable piece to have in your wardrobe… Classic, elevated, and elegant. The silhouette is beautiful off the rack, but this dress is easily tailored if you prefer a more fitted look.

The Ruby Pump is the heel for adding a subtle pop to your seasonal looks but are also so functional for your everyday wardrobe.

The jackets in this collection are the answers to so many wardrobe challenges. They allow you to glamorize life a bit, with beautiful texture and embellishments like these pearl-lined bows, without being something you can only pull out during the holidays. The Georgie Coat works as a swingy jacket or dress too (also great with a bump).

Liv Silver Platform

Will never be over the Clara Dress. It’s absolutely perfect for holiday photos and special occasions. The tiers are intentionally crafted so they offer an elongating look without adding unnecessary volume. It reads silver to blush in real life, with a champagne under-lay, so it’s also suitable to wear to a NYE wedding as it’s not white.

Elle Bow Heel in Black Tulle

James Coat can also be worn as a jacket or dress! I’ve worn it both ways already. The bows have a beautiful rhinestone detail. Both James and Georgie look really cute with a bump as well.

Emily Platform in Black Velvet

Jennings Dress is a show stopper. A chic removable bow comes with the dress! Obviously, I love the bow, but the dress can absolutely be worn without. The two tartan plaid shoes below feature the same print so can be worn as an all-over look or as subtle seasonal pops on their own.

Lastly, wanted to give you a light colored option for your holiday events that lets your outfit shine and the Greer Vest is it! So well priced too. It even has hidden side pockets. Of course, it’s perfect to wear casually as well..just don’t miss an opportunity to dress it up!

Hope you enjoyed this preview and if you have questions, be sure to reference my Instagram try-on highlight and send a DM. So much intention and thought went into crafting pieces that become mainstays in your wardrobe, and I cannot wait to see what you choose and how you style them!

The whole collection will be live on Dillard’s site on Monday 10/23! Stores will carry pieces as well and some are actually pre-selling right now so you can call or visit to see what they’ll have available to take home next week. Enjoy!
