New-to-Me Beauty Products I’m Loving Right Now

A Beauty Picnic

Last week I shared what I packed in my makeup bag on our trip to Hilton Head. When I was working on that post, I went down a rabbit hole on Nordstrom.com and decided there were a few new-to-me products that I wanted to try, so had them delivered straight to the beach (the shipping was much faster than I expected). They include Mario Badescu skin care (the color of the product is what drew me in, honestly!) and Dr. Barbara Strum’s night serum (as I’ve been using the hyaluronic serum pictured and wanted to see if there was a difference in the night-specific formula).

I’m loving the Mario Badescu skin care products, particularly the facial spray, which is so refreshing at the beach and my favorite of the products I tried. The price point can’t be beat (under $15)! Since the Dr. Barbara Strum’s serum is an investment, I feel like the combination is a good balance.

This is one of the main reasons I love Nordstrom’s beauty selection…it’s so well-rounded. They have an amazing assortment of the finest products in the land and entry-level price point products as well. I called this my beauty picnic because it’s how I think about a picnic too…a nice bottle of wine mixed with grocery store snacks is truly the most enjoyable.
