This week, like last, felt quite long! Maybe it’s a feeling I should get used to, one that comes with the territory when you’ve just started your own business and have a one-year-old. Alas, these articles and apps caught my attention and I hope you’ll find them worthy of your time, too.
ONE
Chrissy Teigen’s essay in Glamour about her postpartum depression and anxiety is worthy of a read, especially for all of the new or soon-to-be mamas.
TWO
Ouai Haircare, the Insta-famous baby of celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, is partnering with Dyson for its first-ever pop-up shop, located in Henri Bendel. The space opens today and will be up through April 30.
Three
Peanut, the “Tinder for moms” app that Erika Bearman gave us the scoop about a few weeks ago, continues to take the world by storm. As someone who never used a dating app, the prospect of swiping (or waving, in this case) to find like-minded-mama friends is new, but welcome.
Four
On the subject of social-pairing apps, Atlanta-based Activvely: connects fitness fiends who want to do what you do. Whether you’re training for a marathon, need someone to spin next to or are eager to pick up that racket again, this is a pretty genius way to expand your active network.
FIVE
Do you take screenshots while scrolling on Insta only to have a hard time finding what you were looking for? (Does anyone else have 32,000 photos? Only me?).
Thanks to the newly-released LiketoKnow.it app, which enables you to shop your screenshots, your life just got a whole lot easier. Brilliant!
