What to Wear and Pack for Memorial Day

Memorial Day Packing List!

Can’t believe school is almost out for the summer (in Atlanta we get out right around Memorial Day and go back well before Labor Day). We’re headed to the beach for the long weekend, so thought I’d share what we’re packing! I always think about packing in terms of activities we will be doing, which helps me immensely, or else I’m certain I’d forget something. Listed everything below. My Memorial Day Packing List

Pool/Beach

• Bathing Suits
• Cover Ups (I like pareos, jean shorts and dresses that open in front or are oversized)
• Sandals
• Pool Bag (for kids stuff)
• Basket Bag (for my stuff)
• Towels
• Sunglasses
• Hats and Visors

Workout

• Shorts
• Sports Bras
• Tennis Skirts
• Leggings
• Tops
• Sweatshirts (we usually bum around in the morning in workout clothes, then get our workout in, then do pool/beach)
• Sneakers
• Socks
• Weights / Mat

Dinner

• Dresses
• Heels (always over do it here, love options of espadrilles, slides, high heels, etc.)

• Swim Vest for Jennings & Puddle Jumper Cover for Older Kids
• Shirt for Jennings Prior to Pool (Elle is often happy in her longsleeve suits)

• Comfy Clothes (Just got these joggers for Jennings)

Michael handles his own packing, but I ordered him these swim shoes, these casual shoes, and got him a bunch of these suits last year which have been a big hit. He also has a lot of swimsuits from this brand which are forever favorites, and even make “daddy and me” styles.
