Happy Valentine’s Day!
As this Born on Fifth venture has evolved, I’ve found a passion of mine: celebrating! No matter the holiday or occasion, give me some pretty (in this case, pink) plates, a bunch of flowers and a slew of sweets to style and I’m happy.
I was down a party planning rabbit hole on Instagram when I came across a photo that encapsulated my newfound passion in three p’s: Paper, Petals and Plates. The photo was on Sasha Nicholas’s feed and our friendship was rather instantaneous.
Cindy, who founded her porcelain brand Sasha Nicholas as a second career, believes that gathering at the table is one of the most beautiful daily rituals. She’s right. Her pieces, popular on wedding registries for the in-the-know fashion set, are simply stunning. They’re unique, classic and customizable. They also pair perfectly with traditional china you may already own (Herend, in my case), which she also sells. The candy dish, pictured above, is a Sasha Nicholas design.
One of the other brands her shop carries is a newfound favorite of mine, and what I set my Valentine’s table with. The pink plates are very Mrs. Alice, another one of my go-to Instagram accounts for all things chic entertaining.
Isn’t this table dreamy? Get the look for yourself with pink plates and other beautiful porcelain pieces from the Sasha Nicholas site. I think I may create a life registry because there is so much goodness that I want from her lovely shop.
