Pregnancy is a special time. With Elle, I took how easily we got pregnant for granted and I was also working full time at Spanx, so didn’t do a formal pregnancy shoot. With the boys, I swung the pendulum and captured a million photos of my bump(s) both at my sprinkles and at home. If you fall somewhere in between and want to capture special photos of your bump but don’t want to take photos at your house, here are five of my favorite spots for maternity pictures around Atlanta.
The Swan House
An iconic location and beautiful for maternity photos! Shoot fees start at $500 but it’s worth it if you’re going for grandeur.
Cator Woolford Gardens
The location of our engagement photos. Pretty staircase, lots of greenery and gorgeous outdoor moments.
The Duck Pond
Located in the heart of Buckhead, you also need permission to shoot here (there’s a small fee) but it’s a pretty and practical spot.
Piedmont Park
Stroll through ahead of time to scout your spot (your photographer may have a favorite angle). Lush greenery and skyline views as well.
Park Studios
If you want a studio set up, Park in Buckhead has a great white backdrop and natural light. You can also bring in your own floral moment which could be gorgeous for maternity photos.
