T-Minus Two Weeks Until Bows & Blue Launches
The days have been long and I’ve felt pretty silent on the Instagram front but I’ve been working harder than ever and I’m so excited about what I’ll soon be bringing you with Bows & Blue.
We’ve been finalizing everything from the website and packaging to styling and shooting products and it’s kept me on my feet…a lot. I’ve been wearing a mix of comfy clothes and sneakers but there have also been days when I’ve needed to look a bit more pulled together. I’m in love with this new dress, but I’m most excited about the best booties I found for fall.
Since Covid started, I swear my feet have regressed and I have a harder time wanting to wear heels. The booties I’m wearing totally solve the problem. They’re chic, have just enough of a heel (60mm) and have a built-in hidden platform, which beyond allowing for a little extra height makes for an extremely flattering look. They do also come in a 90mm black version which are beautiful and based on how comfortable these are, I know I’d be able to wear easily.
The boots I’m wearing are called The Perfect Dress Bootie in taupe suede and they’re by one of my favorite brands Sarah Flint. Sarah is a truly talented designer who has seamlessly married lovely aesthetics (this collection is gorgeous and is inspired by her travels to the English countryside to scout wedding venues!) and a comfortable wearing experience. Another reason I’m a fan is because I consistently take my true size (6.5). It can be tricky to order shoes online for that reason, but I’ve never had an issue with these.
If you’re new to the brand, you can use code SARAHFLINT-EMILY which gives you $50 off your first Sarah Flint purchase.
Ok, off to work some more on Bows & Blue. Stay tuned and sign up for emails so you’re the first to know…we’re launching so soon!
