Jewelry Shopping? You Need to Know About The Loveliest Brand: Aurelia Demark
I have never been much of a necklace person and, truth be told, it’s because I hadn’t yet purchased or inherited a necklace that felt special enough yet subtle enough for daily wear. When I spotted Aurelia Demark‘s Bow Pendant while scrolling on Instagram, it stopped me in my tracks. I had a “this is it!” moment and immediately messaged her asking what the process was for customization.
Fast forward a few months and a new necklace-size later, I am the proud owner of the first-ever Large Diamond Bow Pendant and accompanying newly-launched Heart Pendant Necklace. These pieces are beyond special to me, heirlooms that I feel privileged to wear for a moment in time (ok, for the next 16-30 years). I have promised Elle she can have the Bow necklace, engraved with her initials and “Love Always,” when she leaves for college (Aurelia, I may need to buy a second one as I can’t imagine parting with this). And, my plan is to give Jennings the necklace with his name and birthday on it for his love to wear one day (or maybe I’ll keep it, since he’ll always love his mama).

Aurelia’s namesake fine jewelry brand is one of my favorite new finds. Her necklaces and bracelets are all beautiful, feminine designs, some featuring sweet-as-can-be animals and silhouettes. Her mother, who has a hand in creating the pieces, had a necklace with Aurelia’s name and birthday on it made when Aurelia was born and it inspired the current collection.
I fancy myself someone who is nostalgic and sentimental so bought these as a push present for myself…and I hope to share the story behind how and why I picked these with Elle and Jennings one day. Elle, if you’re reading this in the future know that I have grand visions of us working together one day too.
