A few of my go-to teacher appreciation gifts from years past.
They dedicate their days to shaping the minds and character of our littles, no small task. When it comes to showing our gratitude for all they do, finding a teacher appreciation gift that feels thoughtful (but not overdone or a repeat of last year) can be surprisingly tricky.
In my search for gifts teachers will truly enjoy, just in time for the end of the school year, I landed on four go-to categories that make gifting feel simple and considered. Most of these ideas work beautifully for nearly any teacher, and while many lean traditionally feminine, each theme can easily be tailored with a more masculine touch.
I hope this sparks a few meaningful moments for you and your children as you celebrate the teachers who made this year so special.
And if presentation is where you tend to stall, read this gift basket tutorial for a few easy wrapping tips to make it feel just as polished as the gift itself.
Our first day of school photo from this year feels like it was taken yesterday, I can’t believe how quickly time has flown. Click here if you want to use our first day looks for your last day!
A little bit pricier, but this train case would make for a wonderful gift for a teacher you love!
Cute grad looks for little boys that mine have worn throughout the year here and here!
Keep each gift under $10, but still custom, with these Etsy baskets or use the L.L Bean boat tote for a more classic look.

Caffeine Coded
Almost every teacher I know relies on a little caffeine to power those early mornings. This year, I’m planning to gift a bag of my favorite coffee beans, paired with a gift card. I’m finishing it off with the custom tags I had made below. If you’re gifting a little caffeine as well, click here for your own printable version.

To wrap this year’s teacher gift I’m planning to tuck the gift card into a pretty to-go cup, and loosely wrap the cup, along with a bag of my favorite coffee, in some tissue paper. Then going to place everything in a cello gift bag with a generous amount of crinkle paper at the bottom. Attach our custom tag with your favorite coordinating ribbon, et voila!

Organization Overload
Whether they’re already masters of organization or consider themselves type b, I love the idea of gifting pieces that keep things effortlessly in place. Think travel pouches to toss into their work bag, a chic hair clip for pulling it all together, or a sweet jewelry pouch; simple, useful, and universally appreciated.
I’d pair it with a card that says something like, “Thanks for holding it all together,” for a thoughtful touch that still feels fun.
Have A Great Summer
If this is an end-of-year gift, nothing feels more fitting than a little nod to the summer ahead. A chic beach towel, a polished pool bag, or a curated body cream set with a tropical scent are all pieces they can put to use almost immediately. Equal parts practical and mood-boosting.
For Their Desk
Help a teacher set their desk up for the next school year with something both pretty and practical. Think a chic candle or a set of custom stationery that makes everyday moments feel a bit more special.
