My take on Halloween is more treat (think storybook characters and chic pastel colors) than trick so if you too are a ghouly ghoul this one’s for you. The kids are still at the age where I can get away with coordinating family costumes, which create the most precious memories every year, so I’ll continue to dress the entire crew up until they decide they’re over it. Enjoy some family costumes of years past and keep scrolling to see some ideas that feel bewitching for 2024.
Of Years Past…
The Addams Family
We found most of these pieces in our closets. Crowd pleaser but so easy since it’s all black. And the relevance is back thanks to the Wednesday series.
Another version of Wednesday. This time I opted for a bunny instead of Morticia though.
Beauty and the Beast
Belle with her nose in a book and her horse pulling the cart. Such a sweet sibling costume.
I had a low-lift look as the feather duster! Love these pajamas for holiday and winter too so they’re worth the buy.
The Wizard of Oz
Dorothy and the Tin Man costume! So cute and easy to add characters depending on your family size.
A moment for Dorothy herself. Elle loved dressing up in this outfit!
The Darling Family
A favorite from the last year. Dressed up as the Darling family from Peter Pan. Even Birdie got involved.
Where the Wild Things Are
Alice in Wonderland
Another one that has tons of characters to choose from for the rest of the crew. Elle dressed as the perfect Alice.
