Spanx for the Gym…Seriously

Ok, so full disclosure, I used to be the Director of Marketing at Spanx. Yes, that means that I have drawers full of products, accumulated over eight years. And yes, it means that I got to work at one of the coolest, most entrepreneurial companies around.

But it also means that I have inside intel on one of the best kept secrets of life: Spanx makes workout clothes. You may be thinking: they’ll be too tight, uncomfortable, sweaty or unflattering. Think again! These pants are everything you could want and more: they’re totally supportive, instantly make you look a few lbs lighter, have a brilliant, seam-free front (i.e. no camel toe) and definitely pass the downward dog challenge.

SPANX MAKES WORKOUT CLOTHES

I wore the Spanx Active Compression pants in a new print recently and loved them so much, I thought it best to do a giveaway so you can try them too.

All you have to do to enter is follow @spanx and @bornonfifth on Instagram and leave a comment below with your Instagram handle. Good luck and feel free to spread the word! Winner will be announced on February 22.

While these leggings aren’t active, they’re also worth a try! Here are the Active Compression Pants in solid black, if that’s more your speed.

  1. Just started following your blog and was really excited to here that spanx has a line for fitness wear! I’m a fan of spanx and actually just wore a pair of the faux leather leggings tonight for dinner with my girlfriends. Every time I put them on I think of how Sara started her business that literally solved so many problems for women! And now there’s a fitness line?! Perfect timing since I just joined the David Barton Gym in Los Angeles. I need to look my best with no camel toe. Hahaha @monaleh

    • Mona! So honored to have you following along. The active pants are life changing!!! I’m planning to visit LA soon…David Barton is on the list for sure.
