5 Gifts for the Holidays and Beyond

5 Investment-Worthy Gifts for the Holidays and Beyond

If you’re looking to invest in a big gift that has life well beyond the holidays, you’re in the right place. Whether you need a holiday gift, a push present, an anniversary gift or are celebrating a major milestone, I’m pleased to share five of my favorite investment gifts for the holidays and beyond.

1. Henri Noel Jewelry

I’ve been looking for an investment-level diamond tennis necklace (after wearing my Amazon one without taking it off for months) and there were several factors that went into why I picked this gorgeous piece. For starters, it’s a good size and the perfect delicate complement to jeans. Of course, it also dresses up beautifully. Next, it’s adjustable. This is HUGE. Some days I prefer to wear it more closely like a choker, but I love having flexibility with its length when laying other necklaces. Henri Noel is female owned and their pieces range from darling bow earrings to this beautiful bracelet that I’ve also added to my collection.

2. Fine China

I love Richard Ginori, whose pieces are stand out, special and truly tell a story. You can mix and match colors within a set, or go for one cohesive story like I have done with my two place settings. I also registered for Herend for my wedding and think their pieces are equally special and timeless. If you’re on the hunt for a special discontinued piece, shop my favorite resource here.

3. Luxe Linens

When you consider how much of your life you spend asleep, it make sense to invest in linens that are top of the line in both looks and comfort level. I love Matouk linens (we have the chain collection in our bed and bath) and Boll & Branch sheets are also a favorite (we have two sets that we rotate between). I was also an early adopter to Hill House pre-Nap dress days and do like their linens too!

4. Silver Picture Frames

There’s something timeless about a silver frame. One of my favorite wedding gifts was a frame that was engraved with our initials and I think it’s an elegant collection to grow over time, especially since printing photos is becoming a lost art. This bamboo frame is one I like to keep on hand for gift giving and I have my eye on this scalloped set. Bloomingdale’s has a beautiful selection of silver frames!

5. A Jewel Box

If you’re investing in lovely jewelry, I love the idea of having a special jewel box too. Chairish has special pieces that double as furniture – also precious to display a collection of keepsakes if you’d rather keep your baubles in a safe box. This velvet box sits atop my bathroom counter and I love the mini version too. Etsy also has a lovely collection of boxes that would make the perfect gift.
